Affiliate & Commercial Transparency Policy
How Yesterday on TV pays for itself — and what that does (and does not) change in what you read.
Yesterday on TV is monetised exclusively through affiliate links and transparent editorial partnerships. We do not run Google AdSense, programmatic banners, pop-ups or third-party advertising.
How the affiliate links work
If you buy an item through an affiliate link, Yesterday on TV may earn a commission from the store at no extra cost to you. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. These links appear only in clearly identified recommendation modules (“Where to find it”, “Recommendations”), never buried in the body of an article.
- Every affiliate link uses rel="sponsored nofollow noopener noreferrer".
- We publish no prices and promise no availability: both must be checked at the store.
- Where a product has no registered code yet, the link goes to a store search rather than a dead page.
- Recommended items are chosen editorially: relevance to the subject, not the size of the commission.
What the commercial relationship does not buy
Our assessments. A review is never altered to favour a product with an affiliate link, and recommendations are not presented as independent assessments where a commercial relationship exists — the affiliate notice appears with the first module on every page.
